“Throughout our 59-year history, Lakeside Bank has built local partnerships and helped nurture valuable connections within our branch communities. With our south side roots, we were especially pleased to work with the Chamber recently to host a “Business After Hours” event at our Bridgeport branch. What an energizing evening! Dozens of local business owners spoke about their history, current activities, and future plans. Ward and city representatives provided news. And there was plenty of time for mingling and sharing ideas. In addition to being a useful night, it was fun! There’s a great, positive, “can do” spirit that you can really feel. The resurgence of the Chamber and increased level of local engagement is a testament to its leadership (yes, Lakeside’s own Matt Palmisano is Board President!) and the growing strength of the business community.
